Becky brings a fierce belief in the individual strength of spirit into her sessions. With focus on safety, self-compassion, and honesty, she supports clients in their journey toward health and healing.
Through trauma-informed counseling, Becky shines a light in the darkness for those with whom she works. She is new to the role of counselor but an experienced LifeStar veteran. She understands the inner battles that can rage and the victories achievable through healing from betrayal trauma and out of control sexual behavior. Becky believes that honesty and accountability have healing properties that cannot be underestimated. She has been involved with the Heart of a Women retreat for years and sees the power in connection, laughter, and adventure.
Becky's focus is trauma-informed attachment and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is trained in EMDR therapy, trauma-informed yoga, and expressive art therapy. Becky is a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Candidate (CCPS-C) through APSATS and is trained to work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families.
Becky loves traveling and adventuring (saw the Northern Lights and the Arctic Circle this year!), art and music, and especially being with her family. She also loves Broadway musicals, movies, reading for fun and learning, going to Disneyland, putting up Christmas decorations, and eating Sour Patch Kids. When she isn't counseling or studying, Becky can be found cuddled up on the couch with her family playing the ukulele and enjoying "America's Funniest Home Videos".
