Coming January 2023
My life has long been centered around sports and fitness related pursuits. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Communications Studies (and football) I spent the next eight years as a professional athlete with the Indianapolis Colts. After retiring, I found my way into the world of corporate wellness, which opened my eyes to the importance of mental health and led me to the counseling profession.
I’m passionate about working with individuals to help them uncover strengths that support them in working through depression, anxiety, and other difficult challenges. My experience has taught me that life is filled with tough transitions and numerous ups and downs, but that we have the capacity to develop skills that help us find a path to deeper connections and a more fulfilling life.
I enjoy working with teens, adults, and business executives, and have a special place in my heart for parents, supporters, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
When I’m not counseling I’m spending time with my two daughters or taking long walks with my dog Nemo. I enjoy snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, and love following Formula 1 racing. My other passion is meditation, which I have been studying, practicing, and teaching for the last seven years.
