OCD & Anxiety

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is a pattern of behavior in which a person struggles with unwanted thoughts, images, or urges (obsessions) that create significant distress, anxiety, and disruption in their lives. The obsessions are usually followed by behaviors that neutralize or bring relief (compulsions), but the obsessions may exist without compulsions. Either way, a very undesirable cycle is formed that is very difficult to overcome.

With specialized training in Exposure Response Prevention - a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that is considered the best treatment for OCD - our team of providers can help individuals and their loved ones to stop the cycle so they can start living the life they want to have.

Anxiety can happen in conjunction with OCD, but it can also interrupt our lives in its own unique way. Gradual exposure through Exposure Therapy - another type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - is a very effective tool that can also help reduce the power and disruption of anxiety. Our team uses Exposure Therapy and other tools, including trauma-informed modalities, to help you start to manage anxiety.
